Description
In the 1920s an "Arizona Pageantry Association" was created to promote education and one of the plays took place at the Casa Grande Ruins. A multi-story wooden building painted to resemble adobe was constructed. There was a cast of 300 people for a three day production November 5-7, 1926. It was held again November 4-6, 1927, March 8-10, 1929 and March 28-30, 1930.
